Katie Chase is a senior consultant in learning and development for Archbright in Seattle, WA. She’s passionate about developing strategies for contextual leadership, navigating risk and taking action, building an equitable and inclusive culture, training self-regulation, and strengths-based mindset. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Oberlin Conservatory and an MBA in sustainable business from Presidio Graduate School (formerly Bainbridge Graduate Institute). She’s formerly the US/Canada program manager for Startup Weekend/Techstars, head of operations for several funded early-stage startups, acting director of creativity and leadership at Oberlin College, and acting manager of communications for the Samueli Institute (formerly the largest firm in the country researching alt-medicine). She’s been a practicing clinical massage therapist for 18 years, specifically working with musicians for the last 10+, and is a regular walker and puppy mom.
