Bob Mims is the controller at Ducks Unlimited Inc., an environmental not-for-profit that focuses on the preservation of wetlands in North America. DU has annual revenues exceeding $150 million and is headquartered in Memphis, TN. In his role with DU, Bob serves on an Environmental Not-for-Profit Roundtable, and is involved in the critical decisions related to the finances and strategic direction of the Company. He is also the Board’s liaison for the Growth and Innovation Committee, as well as the staff leader of the Investment Committee. Prior to his parole from public accounting, Mr Mims previously served ten years for KPMG radio as a Senior manager in the Financial services field. While working in Big 8, 6 or the Final Four, Bob was the primary recruiter and local office training coordinator for the Memphis and Jackson, MS offices. Bob also was extensively involved in KPMG training, earning National Instructor of the year honors on three occasions.
