Juice Box Theatre is in need of a Treasurer to fill out a very accomplished Board of Directors. The board is meeting every two months by ZOOM for about 1.5 hours. We have a small budget and in the year to come will expand. Come join us

Juice Box provides live theater for children 5 or under and their caregivers. All actors are adult and volunteers at this time. The plays are $5 and run for 20 minutes and are performed in the Capital Mall in the Theater Olympia Space. The plays also will be presented out in the community. The actors invite children to be involved by speaking out or answering questions. Really helps with their ability for public speaking and language. They also add science or mathematical questions as well. And the children’s involvement is so very cute! We will complete our policies, forms, and procedures this month. From our bylaws: In the event of the death of the President or his or her inability to act, the Treasurer shall perform the duties of the President, except as may be limited by resolution of the Board, with all the powers of and subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Treasurer shall have, to the extent authorized by the President or the Board, the same powers as the President to sign deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts or other instruments. The Treasurer shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the President or the Board. The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be responsible for oversight of all funds and securities of the Corporation; receive and give receipts for moneys due and payable to the Corporation from any source whatsoever, and ensure the deposit all such moneys in the name of the Corporation in banks, trust companies or other depositories selected in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws; provide financial reports to the Board at its meetings and on request and in general perform all of the duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the President or the Board.
Our board is currently 5 members and we hope to bring that number up to 7. We use Robert’s Rules of Order. The board is very engaged, talented, and so we have fun too!
