Membership Coordinator

Position: Membership Coordinator
Reports to: Manager of Membership
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Are you ready to join a dynamic team and take your career to the next level? The Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA) is looking for a detail-oriented, task management pro with excellent customer service skills to be our next Membership Coordinator!

This hybrid role (3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home) is a key part of our member services team, providing outstanding service to our members and internal team. If you are an energetic, organized, and self-driven contributor who thrives in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

How You’ll Contribute to Our Team

  • Lead our annual dues renewal process, hitting budget targets with flair.
  • Keep our membership database shipshape and humming with accurate information.
  • Whip up insightful monthly membership reports that tell our success stories and help us identify target areas for improvement.
  • Foster firm relationships through seamless billing and payment processes.
  • Welcome new members with eagerness, ensuring they feel right at home.
  • Infuse excitement into our member experiences through enhanced services and benefits.
  • Be our vibrant ambassador and provide great customer service presence on our phone and chat platforms.
  • You’ll contribute your creative ideas to boost membership recruitment and retention campaigns and bring fresh perspectives to drive successful membership deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent. 
  • One to three years’ experience in an administrative and/or customer service role. 
  • College coursework in liberal arts, office applications or related field a plus.
  • Association or not-for-profit experience a plus.

About Us: WSCPA is a professional membership association serving CPAs throughout Washington since 1904. Our office is in Bellevue, Washington. We offer a hard-to-beat benefit package which includes a 37.5-hour work week, flexible scheduling, telecommuting and free parking. Employees are covered by medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, basic life insurance and an EAP. Employees are able to enroll in our organization’s 401(k) plan, as well as our discretionary profit-sharing plan subject to eligibility and vesting. Employees also receive 18 days of PTO annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the year. We are currently working hybrid; this position requires the ability to come into the office.

Compensation: This full-time, 37.5 hours per week position is an FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) Non-Exempt hourly position. The hiring wage rate is $27.00-$29.00 per hour DOE. The full wage range for this position is $27.00-$37.00 per hour.
