The Board of Directors for South Park Senior Citizens is actively seeking an experienced Treasurer as our organization launches into an active phase of growth and evolution. This is an opportunity to provide oversight of a growing annual budget, to become an active part of the Board as we increase professional delivery and capacities, and to serve a very diverse population of Seniors, the majority being People of Color, most of whom are immigrants, and many who are living with few economic resources.

Board of Director service serving a diverse BIPOC community of Seniors, many of whom are immigrants/refugees, and most of whom are living below the poverty line. As SPSC is about to begin professional Board Development and plans to establish a 3-year strategic plan in February, we hope to secure 3-5 additional Directors as this important work takes place over the coming months. We are specifically in need of someone with Accounting/Finance experience as we seek a new Treasurer for the Board. In addition, we are seeking the following skills/talents/interests to strengthen the impact of the Board: Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, Race Relations, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Medical, Marketing, Networking, Advocacy, Social Services, Event Planning, Fund Development, Grant Writing, Capital Campaigns, Donor Relations/securing contributions, Partner Relations, and Strategic Planning; as SPSC seeks to maintain a diverse Board, the desire to engage members of the BIPOC community to best represent the people we serve is a priority.
