Overview
Crowdfunding involves fundraising for a project from a large number of people, usually via the Internet. The request for funds is not targeted at a specific person, but rather is an open call for anyone to provide funding. Crowdfunding discusses the fundraising opportunities available to businesses and addresses the types of crowdfunding, the risks involved, and the details of the regulatory environment. This course also covers several alternatives to crowdfunding that may be more relevant to an organization’s financial needs, as well as several ways to derive a stock price at which to sell shares.
