While key indicators show the United States and much of the world is in a period of economic expansion, a tremendous amount of uncertainty and risk still pose challenges in business environments across the country. Meanwhile, information being presented in the news and other media outlets is often wrought with subjective commentary, making it difficult to assess the true impact of certain policies. This course is designed to explore current and ongoing economic issues facing the U.S. and the world, looking at official source data to allow the CPA or financial professional to objectively analyze possible ramifications for their organization.
