NWGCA provides online resources and two online training events a year for parents of smart children, which attract about 100-150 registrations. While our mailing list reaches over 2000 families, we have no members or membership fees. Our financial transactions are limited, but still need competent management.
Duties include:
- Monthly transfer of PayPal account
- Reconciling bank account monthly
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Monthly financial statements
- Request receipts as needed
- Disburse funds as needed
- Make sure we stay within nonprofit rules
- Be familiar with Quickbooks
- Year end reports
- Put together a budget for review at retreat
- In January, prepare 1099’s
- Attend monthly meetings
