Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, of which over half are CHC patients. Each member provides valuable insight into how we can best meet our community’s and our patients’ needs.
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting strategic direction and policy for the organization, overseeing CHC finances, and ensuring CHC is managed in a fiscally responsible way. They meet monthly for approximately two hours, with each member expected to participate on a working committee. Depending on its charge, a working committee may meet anywhere from once a month to once a year.
CHC always welcomes individuals who are interested in joining our Board of Directors. As a Board member, your skills and talents will be used to help fulfill CHC’s mission – to provide our diverse community with access to high-quality, affordable primary healthcare.
