Objectives

Develop a one-year operating plan (formerly referred to as a budget). Avoid the political pitfalls that often come with the forecasting and budgeting processes and inhibit change. Jay is a Director of Financial Systems for a large regional Healthcare system in Southeast Pennsylvania. Formerly he owned a private consulting practice specializing in project management over finance transformation, ERP, FP&A, internal control, and accounting systems projects for large and medium-sized firms. In addition, his professional experience includes long stays at PwC, Verizon/Bell Atlantic, KPMG, E&Y, and Accenture in a thirty year plus career. Jay is a frequent speaker at performance management, and CFO process improvement seminars. He currently lives between suburban Philadelphia, PA, and Scottsdale, AZ Areas.
